Help Us Bring Native Plants to Yesler Swamp!

On Saturday March 5th at 10AM till noon please come and join UW students, faculty and other Friends of Yesler Swamp to plant bushes over a former blackberry patch near the corner of NE 41st St and Surber Drive. There is more blackberry root grubbing to do at the bush planting site between the willow staking (future forest) and grass path. The native bushes should give a natural border between the grass and the forest and attract native birds.
